Meet the Agents - Kathryn Marquiss

Kathryn was raised in Pennsylvania’s Cumberland County. She now resides in North Whitehall Township with her husband of three years and their Yorkshire terrier.

Kathryn attended Lock Haven University on a combined Academic and Athletic scholarship. Her record setting years on the volleyball team earned her multiple state and regional recognitions. She graduated Summa Cum Laud in 2001 with a degree in Organismal & Molecular Biology.

After trying her hand at several science related fields, Kathryn continued to work in the people-focused, fast-paced food and beverage industry where she had years of previous experience. In 2004, Kathryn moved to the Lehigh Valley to work as the Catering Director at Saucon Valley Country Club.

Kathryn became a licensed insurance agent in the summer of 2007 and joined the Sterner Insurance family as an insurance consultant and producer. She is excited to be a part of such a customer-oriented and principled company and is looking forward to adding to the immense growth they anticipate in the coming years.

In her free time, Kathryn enjoys coaching and playing volleyball as well as participating in outdoor-warm-weather activities with her husband (and dog whenever possible) such as hiking, camping, running, kayaking, biking, and well, just about anything active as long as the weather is warm!
